Family lore is what it is... all you're doing is sharing & preserving information.

I'm happy that this work is bringing you closer to your family! This is your work to do.

I must admit that I get a kick out of Fannie & her surnames -- sounds like a woman who was many things to many people.

I can see my descendants saying the same about me, Grandma Dona Amechia Mechie Luckie Daniels Taylor, one day!:-)

And yes, you all may have come together but for sure, the Ancestors were pulling the strings!:-)

Luckie.Luckiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10747339234820634005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889959884897163049.post-5060746789614477842009-08-30T20:41:02.124-04:002009-08-30T20:41:02.124-04:00Your conversation with your cousins kind of puts i...Your conversation with your cousins kind of puts in perspective what our research is about. Learning family history and finding family along the way. My great aunt Emma married a Sam Long and had 8 children. I was able to contact one of the children's daughter and she had some information but not a lot. She is around 70 yrs old and know more of the Long side than my Robertson side since she has been working on her own family history, but it has much to do with land. I believe I filled her in on her grandmother(Emma). My point is whithout this research I would not have never spoken to cousin Clarene and like you and your cousin we speak often. Blessings to you and your new found cousin.
FeliciaFelicia R Mathishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03484380086801597094noreply@blogger.com
